This message will be updated by 9am on Saturday the 13th of February.
At 2:30 pm on Friday;
Mythe was 4.06 metres and steady. Levels are expected to remain elevated between 4 and 4.1 metres until Saturday.
Upper Pound was 4.02 metres and steady. Levels are expected to remain elevated between 4 and 4.1 metres until Saturday.
Haw Bridge was 5.01 metres and steady. Levels are expected to remain elevated between 5 and 5.1 metres until Saturday.
Leigh Court was 2.99 metres and steady.
At Sandhurst, a peak level of between 3.9 and 4 metres is expected to occur during tonight’s tide at 1 am.
At Gloucester, a peak level of between 3.6 and 3.8 metres is expected to occur during tonight’s tide at 12:15 am.
The period of spring tides has now peaked. Fluvial levels are not expected to rise significantly and will instead remain steady in the next 24 hours.
Minimal rainfall is forecast over the next 5 days and river levels will begin to recede after Saturday.
