Three Day Flood Risk Forecast

Valid from 10:30 on 31 Jul 2014

Summary

The surface water flood risk is LOW on Saturday across northern parts of England and northern and western parts of Wales. Heavy rain is expected throughout much of Saturday, clearing north by the end of the day. There is the potential for minor impacts from surface water flooding within the heaviest rain, particularly in urban areas. Typical impacts may include localised flooding of land and roads and perhaps individual properties. Further heavy rain and showers are expected today, Friday and elsewhere on Saturday. There is the potential for minor impacts from this rain, however confidence is currently low for any one county or Unitary Authority and therefore the overall risk remains VERY LOW. The flood risk may be escalated as confidence in the forecast increases. This forecast is updated daily - please check again for the latest forecast.
